Cabo da Roca is the westernmost point of mainland Portugal and mainland Europe.

The site forms the edge of the Sintra Mountains, which, falling into the Atlantic Ocean, offers a magnificent view of the splendor of the sea.

Penedo da Ursa is a wild, difficult-to-access beach located near Cabo da Roca. Associated with this beach is a legend linked to paganism and the melting ice age.

Guincho Beach is one of the most beautiful beaches on this coast. It's a wild beach where dunes and wind meet. It's a popular spot for surfers who marvel at the horizon with their surfing and windsurfing.

Boca do Inferno (Hell's Mouth) is located on the Costa da Guia, west of the town of Cascais. The name "Boca do Inferno" (Hell's Mouth) derives from the morphological similarity and the tremendous and frightening impact of the waves that occur there on days with high tides.

A maritime fortress built in the 16th century, with a bastioned layout and triangular plan, a central courtyard incorporating a 16th-century quadrangular tower on one side. The date of the beginning of construction of the Nossa Senhora da Luz fortress and the authorship of its design remain to be determined, but the discovery of a document in the Venice archive by Julieta Marques Oliveira confirms that it already existed at the time of the Spanish invasion of 1580.

Cascais was once a small fishing village, but its landscape attracted the attention of artists, writers, and the European nobility expelled in the 20th century. Today, it continues to attract beautiful beaches and adventures like sailing and surfing. The Conde de Castro Guimarães Museum, a former palace, is now open to the public and displays an impressive collection of art and artifacts.
